Here is personal review for the Ridgid 130383001 18 VOLT COMPACT LITHIUM ION BATTERY PACK

Lots of power, long , full power until the end, light weight,
you wouldn’t go back to a NiMh battery after using a drill with a lithium-ion. I have a Ridgid 18v hammer drill with the lithium-ion battery and never use my dewalt anymore. The always needs charged before using, its a NiMh, doesn’t hold a charge long. The ridgid battery can set for months and still go for hours before charging. The BMW of drills.

I recently purchased the 4-piece ridgid combo pack for work and it comes with the same lithium-ion batteries shown here. I do on a Marine Base. I mainly use a , so it’s not like I use these tools constantly. It just seems like every time I go to use my tools, they need a charge. These just don’t seem to hold a charge for very long. I always take the battery off of whatever tool I happened to be using at the time. That way the Ridgid battery doesn’t drain as fast, but It doesn’t seem to really matter. These Ridgid batteries should last a lot longer than they do. Like the other review says, you’ll get about 2-3 hours of drill time maybe. Don’t get me wrong, I like my tool set. I just wish they’d last a little longer.
