Not a bad price on a couple of standard Lithium-ion Ridgid Batteries. 77.99 for two. It is Amazons Choice by the way.
To keep your Ridgid power tools charged, you need to use Ridgid batteries. This compact model, the AC840085, is a 1.5 amp hour battery that will keep your tools charged while keeping their weight to a minimum for extensive light or heavy duty tasks. It can run in extremely cold temperatures, as low as -4 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 degrees Celsius). Simply plug it into the tool, run it lightly for a few minutes, and then the battery should be warm enough for your regular tasks. On top of a light weight and compact size, the battery boasts a free-standing base, a feature that will help you keep your tools upright. This is great for keeping them in storage, or, if you’re working with a work light, letting you work with both hands. From diy applications to professional jobs, this Ridgid battery will help you do what you need to do the right way. This item is removed from retail packaging for shipping purposes (Bulk Packaged) and will arrive in a generic box.
These are awesome batteries. They last a long time compared to the standard batteries. I use a one inch auger bit for installing security cameras. It seems to last twice as long as my stock batteries. If you have one you know what I mean.

People are complaining that this battery isn’t covered by the factory warranty, and it isn’t. The seller only offers the standard Amazon 30 day warranty. The fact is, this is a good price for an OEM battery and chances are it will last a long time. If you use it on a daily basis, chances are, any problems it is going to have will happen in that 30 days. If you want the factory warranty, buy this battery from an authorized seller. If you want an OEM battery at a good price, buy it from here and take your chances. Weigh your options.
If you did not register your battery with Ridgid at the time of purchase there is a good chance they will NOT warranty them. Ya thanks for not telling me that Home Dept when I bought a combo kit. Anyway you can get these for about half what the Ridgid ones cost.
FYI: You can charge these on any Ridgid charger that charges lithium batteries. Here is one if you don’t have one.
This is a dual chemistry battery charger by the way. It will charge both NiCd and Lithium batteries, Ridgid or other brands.

Here is a good replacement for factory Ridgid batteries. If you did not register your battery with Ridgid at the time you purchased them and cannot get them to warranty the “lifetime” warranty they advertise, this is a cheaper solution than buying another Ridgid battery.
