Replacement batteries
I was debating on whether to purchase a new set or just the batteries that all went at the same time (left in a hot shed for over a month)but decided to save some $$ and just buy the Ridgid batteries. I’ve had the set for over 5 years and am still happy with it. The new batteries are working great.
great service
The Ridgid batteries came in a very short time. They arrived in good condition. One battery would not connect to my drill, but after examining it I found a strip of plastic that didn’t come off when taken out of the mold. After removing the small plastic strip it worked great. Very good service.

Here is personal review for the Ridgid 130383001 18 VOLT COMPACT LITHIUM ION BATTERY PACK
Lots of power, long shelf life, full power until the end, light weight,
you wouldn’t go back to a NiMh battery after using a drill with a lithium-ion. I have a Ridgid 18v hammer drill with the lithium-ion battery and never use my dewalt anymore. The dewalt battery always needs charged before using, its a NiMh, doesn’t hold a charge long. The ridgid battery can set for months and still go for hours before charging. The BMW of drills.

I recently purchased the 4-piece ridgid combo pack for work and it comes with the same lithium-ion batteries shown here. I do electrical work on a Marine Base. I mainly use a screwdriver, so it’s not like I use these tools constantly. It just seems like every time I go to use my tools, they need a charge. These Ridgid batteries just don’t seem to hold a charge for very long. I always take the battery off of whatever tool I happened to be using at the time. That way the Ridgid battery doesn’t drain as fast, but It doesn’t seem to really matter. These Ridgid batteries should last a lot longer than they do. Like the other review says, you’ll get about 2-3 hours of drill time maybe. Don’t get me wrong, I like my tool set. I just wish they’d last a little longer.
